The First Bump Outfit Post

The rain truly pored today yet it didn't dampen our spirits. Today was maternity shoot day ! I am now 8 months pregnant and finally have a bump big enough to catch on camera.
For the shoot I wore a Primark tunic and highlighted the bump with a little belt. I had the full intention of wearing a maxi dress however it was a tad chilly and that would be very wishful thinking.
I have been debating doing a few maternity outfit posts and being in front of the camera today may have given me the push I needed too.Dressing the bump is actually a lot easier than I ever thought it would be. I have been dragged kicking and screaming away from my utter devotion to the nipped in waist. If you follow me on twitter you will be fully aware of my very public grieving towards loosing my waist. I have traded in that silhouette for a slightly different version. I have simply moved the belts up a few inches.

The pregnancy hasn't given me any time off. I have been working hard on my E.P. I feel like I have made myself a horcruex ( sorry for the Harry Potter reference). I really have put everything I have into it and I cannot wait to have it all record it and release it for you all to see it.

Sweets at my fingertips

It is no secret that I love sweets , so when I found a 4d nail polish in Accessorize I morphed into a 5 year old child with excitement. Its quite literally like having hundreds and thousands attached to your fingers , its an unfortunate fact that they don't taste the same so please don't eat them.
It was quite a messy process putting on the glitter balls as you have to paint your nails first then dust them with the jewels. So grab a friend to help.

I have been going crazy for all things nails as of late after seeing magic being made at WAH nails in Topshop. Take a look at a few of there designs for inspiration for your own sickly sweet nail creations.

Footsteps Into Narnia

I love it when it snows , none of this rubbish "turn into slush" business. I love real snow. I love the excitement ( and eventual guilt) you get from treading on un-spoilt snow.  I also love the excuse to have an endless supply of hot chocolates topped with cream and marshmallows.
For this look I pulled out my topshop duffle coat , at the beginning of the shoot I was going to make the look revolve around my lace dress ( which is hidden underneath) , but I seem to look a little more than frost bitten in those pictures. I absolutely adore this jacket , it fits so comfortably and makes me feel like a little child being dragged to school.
I also had to sacrifice one of my beautiful roses that Jack surprised me with the other day, I thought the contrast of the red and white was lovely.
For the next few days I am going to try and get out into the snow as much as possible ..... snow man anyone ?  What are you all up to this very snowy weekend ?
